TECHNICAL/DESIGN DEPARTMENT

Behind each job lies careful design. Understanding what the customer wants and coming up with prompt answers is the objective we achieve through our Technical Department. We deploy our resources in the pursuit of innovative design and new materials; and by integrating a number of technologies, we manage to combine technical function and visual appeal. We design the finished product from A to Z: we engineer the mould for you (using aluminium, resin and wood) and build prototypes, which we then perfect until we are ready for the full production run. We engage in a comprehensive technical dialogue with you to understand your requirements from the drawing board stage so that we can tackle any issues before they arise, maintaining quality as well as cost effectiveness.

MOULDING DEPARTMENT

With decades under our belt working alongside some of the top companies - leaders in their respective fields - we have been able to develop increasingly complex and cutting-edge moulding solutions. The department has 8 single-station thermoforming machines with a mould bed measuring up to 4000x2000x900 and featuring the latest heating and control systems. The machines feature automated loading and unloading systems for faster production rates, with the option of producing parts with TWIN-SHEET technology.

CUTTING DEPARTMENT

A.P. FORM has always appreciated the importance of the product's visual appearance, which is why we offer an extensive range of original designs painstakingly executed to the highest quality. We have fitted out our department with 7 latest generation cutting centres (five- and three-axis models), employing self-learning programming or CAD-CAM software capable of reading IGES, STEP, DXF and DWG files. Our attention to detail also extends to product finishing, which entails seeking out the best tools for the job.

FOAMING DEPARTMENT

This department has been a fully integrated part of our operation for many years, featuring 2 high-pressure systems for foaming high- and low-density rigid polyurethane allowing us to cater to specific soundproofing, thermal insulation and structural reinforcement requirements. Being environmentally friendly has always been important to A.P. FORM, hence our strict use of materials in line with current standards.

ASSEMBLY DEPARTMENT

We are constantly trying out and testing new types of single- and two-part adhesives to bring the product increasingly in line with customer requirements. Unrivalled attention and quality during the assembly stage and the use of electronic equipment for ultrasonic spot welding.

BENDING DEPARTMENT

Here, specialist personnel have the job of making parts from flat sheets using special heating units that allow our team to bend plastics (PMMA-PETG-PC and so on) with effective and, at the same time, money-saving solutions.

FRONT OFFICE

Prompt, well-honed interaction between the various departments means A.P. FORM can cater to any request, offering comprehensive and attentive support every time. We help customers manage their requirements through standard, blanket and planned purchase orders with a CALL-OFF service or KANBAN.
